Flu season will be upon us soon, but we can fight against it. Community Nursing Services (CNS) is offering free or reduced cost flu shots to the community. School's out in Kamas! Let the summer begin!

What happens when you challenge a group of elementary students to a pig kiss-off? Principal Flinders found out the hard way. In August, she told her students that if they could get their reading scores above 75% by the end of the year, she would kiss a pig! We all know Mrs. Flinders is an optimist by nature, so did she really think she was going to get out of this? Did she think the students would forget such a challenge? Did she know all along this was her fate at the end of May? We may never know. What we do know, is that the students delivered with their reading scores.
