Silver Summit Academy is proud to announce that they now have a National Honor Society and a National Junior Honor Society chapter. The application process will open next week. All Academy students are welcome to apply. The criteria includes a 3.0 GPA minimum, teacher recommendation, and the application. The National Honor Society seeks to recognize and encourage academic achievement while also developing other characteristics of good citizenship. It was founded on the pillars of enthusiasm for scholarship, promoting leadership, and service. A description of the selection procedure and the constitution will be posted to the website soon, as will an in class and e-mail announcement to students and parents. Interested students should consider carefully their involvement. Participation in the NHS and NJHS includes a time commitment for both meetings and service projects.
