UPDATE: The SECURE protocol has ended and the situation has been resolved at SSHS. Everyone is safe. Thank you to Summit County Sheriff Department for always responding quickly and your dedication to keeping our students and staff safe.

SSHS is currently in a SECURE protocol due to law enforcement activity outside of the building. Staff is safe. Students are on Spring Break this week. SECURE protocol means everyone gets inside and doors are locked. Nobody is allowed in or out. We continually train for emergency situations like this one. We're so appreciative of our excellent partnership with Summit County Sheriff Department and their quick response.

Thrive empowers our youth with these skills and more! Students meet for one hour weekly on Zoom, with a cohort of up to ten peers and a Thrive facilitator, to learn, practice, and reflect on valuable well-being skills. Celebrating School Social Work Week! Shoutout to the incredible school social workers who bring their expertise and unique educational background to our schools. They help create a positive and inclusive environment for students. Their presence contributes to the holistic development and well-being of students and strengthens the overall effectiveness of our school community.
