The Board of Education acknowledges that school property is public property and that the Board of Education has the ultimate responsibility for protecting and maintaining these assets for the benefit of its students. When students are not using school property, it is the Board of Education’s intent to make these resources available as “permitted civic centers,” for public use, under the requirements and restrictions set forth herein.
All after-hour use of any district building must be scheduled through the District Facilities Scheduler using the District approved software. Schools are given first priority when a schedule is submitted to the Facilities Scheduler by June 30 of each year. Rental requests made after July 1 will be scheduled on a time and space available basis.
